Mr. Drew looks amazing.  I mean, he was real, not an actor in exaggerated costume playing a smarmy ladies man in polo gear!

I think these dogs were probably one of the few uncomplicated and down to earth relationships in this family's day.

A Scrap of a Dog

I wasn't sure this was a photo to share.  It is almost channeling Diane Arbus...but not quite.  

But this little scrap of a dog with her favorite hard rubber alligator was much loved.  

That said, I guess this undoubtably is a good dog :-)

Is the dog wearing a hat we can't quite see or do pugs have flat heads?
